Orico Enters PC Market with OminiPlus Mini PC
Orico has offered mini PCs under OminiPlus to enter the personal computer market. The OminiPlus is quite compact with its 0.8-liter chassis, but the compatibility of using many good features, such as connectivity with external GPUs, can be found in its design, which bears an almost identical resemblance to Apple's Mac mini.
Connectivity and Ports
OminiPlus is designed with a vast number of present ports that offer flexibility to users. It includes the following configurations:
- 2x USB4 (for data, display and eGPU)
 - 2x 10 Gbps USB Type-A
 - 2x 480 Mbps USB Type-A
 - 1x DisplayPort 1.4
 - 1x HDMI 2.1
 - 2x 2.5G Ethernet
 - 1x 3.5 mm audio jack

Core Hardware and Expandability
The device utilizes an AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS, a Zen 3+ APU from Rembrandt R. It has an integrated Radeon 660M igpu, making it good for light-to-medium gaming or emulation. For greater graphical performance, the dual-USB4 ports are available for connecting with an external GPU (eGPU).
Promotion images indicate that the OminiPlus will come with twin DDR5 SODIMM slots for memory and two M.2 PCIe slots for storages drives. Although a complete specification has not yet been released, the images show the OminiPlus is preparing for a capable cooling system to keep the processor's temperature in load usage.
Configuration and Price
The complete ranges of details of configurations aren't available yet. However, one version containing 16 GB of RAM and 2 TB of storage is currently found in the Chinese marketplace JD offered at CNY 3,799 (approximately $549). Orico is expected soon to provide more configurations and global availability information.
