Fractal Design Brings New Epoch XL to Product Range
The Epoch XL has now been officially made known by Fractal Design. It is the larger version of the well-acclaimed Epoch model. The newly introduced casing continues with much of the model's simple appearance but adds quite a large internal volume to accommodate larger components and tropicalizes airflow.
Dimensions and Compatibility for Hardware
The Epoch XL is a box measuring 503 x 240 x 509 mm. Really spacious for high-end constructions. Specifications on compatibility are as follows
- Motherboard Support Up to E-ATX boards, including country of origin motherboard support for connectors being reversed mounted to ensure clean cable management.
- Graphics Cards Can support multiple lengths of the GPU, ranging from a maximum of 425 mm down to 395 mm when reduced via a front radiator.
- CPU Coolers Supports up to 176 mm of air coolers.
- Power Supply The case comprises 290 mm in length for PSUs.
Cooling and Aeration
Thermal handling in this case is provided by three 140-mm Momentum fans behind the front mesh panel. Flexible cooling configurations are available in this casing
- Fan Support Maximum seven 120-mm fans or five 140-mm fans total.
- Radiator Support Up to 360 mm radiators can be mounted in both positions front and top.
Pricing and Availability
The Epoch XL is available in black and white at the same time between standard and RGB models. Sales have already begun in the USA, the UK, and the Asia-Pacific region, with others coming on board closer to the end of this month.
