Benchmarking Tool Cinebench 2026 by Maxon

Maxon has come out with a new version of its popular benchmarking tool, Cinebench 2026, for system performance assessment. This version combines the Redshift rendering engine and is focused on supporting next-generation graphics hardware from NVIDIA and AMD.

Hardware and Platform Extensions

Cinebench 2026 takes a stampede into updated support for newer and future hardware with its updating features, as follows:

  • Consumer GPUs: NVIDIA Blackwell GeForce (RTX 5000 series) and AMD Radeon 9000 series
  • Apple Silicon: Apple M4 and M5 processors
  • Datacenter GPUs: NVIDIA Hopper and Blackwell architecture cards
  • Operating Systems: Windows x86-64, Windows on ARM64, and macOS.

Important Scoring Changes

Maxon no longer says Cinebench scores from 2026 can be compared with the now-defunct Cinebench 2024 scores. This is due to changes in the new Redshift engine and revisions of performance optimizations underneath it.

Availability

Cinebench 2026 is now downloadable on the official Maxon site.
