Philips' expansion of Evnia gaming products now comes with the announcement of the 27M2N5500XD. This new 27-inch monitor is made for competitive gamers and features dual-mode capability, enabling the users to prioritize extreme refresh rates of up to 1000Hz by changing the image resolution.

The core feature of the Evnia 27M2N5500XD is the possibility to switch between high-resolution or high-speed operation modes depending on the user's needs
- Standard Mode: Native resolution of 2560x1440 (QHD) with refresh rate of 500Hz.
- High-Speed Mode: By switching to 720p, the refresh rate would double up to reach 1000 Hz.
