THQ Nordic Produces Sacred The Last Pixel of Ancaria
Announcing the new title of the long-loved Sacred series, THQ Nordic now brings Sacred: Last Pixel of Ancaria. After making the remaster for Sacred 2, this is quite a new undertaking for the series since it basically emerges as a comical retro-style RPG instead of fighting with all contemporary action RPGs.
A retro spin-off of SparklingBit
A Kickstarter page for the project has registered, showing that it is being developed at SparklingBit. Last Pixel of Ancaria, unlike the three major episodes of the saga, adopts the same visual style as the 16-bit consoles.
Describing it as explicitly comedic, developers say that the game tosses nonsense. Pixels, ardor, and at least nonsense are what the team promises as the new project description specifies, thus making the game a more cheerful one than the previous ones.
Crowdfunding and Launch Info
As of now, the game announcement had not yet begun the stage of financing. The crowdfunding campaign from Kickstarter will commence on April 14, 2026. So far, there is no accurate date for releasing it, while THQ Nordic has not mentioned the platforms the game supports.
