GIGABYTE Unveils First OLED Monitor HyperNits Brightness Enhancement
At the CES fair of the year 2026, GIGABYTE launches its brand-new HyperNits technology, raising the OLED perceived brightness around 30%. This will be first utilized in the GIGABYTE MO34WQC36 monitor.
What Is HyperNits Technology?
HyperNits proposes to resurrect the OLED screens HDR pictures' problems of being dull by modifying the parameters of an update EOTF, which is nothing but the algorithm that converts digital signals to visible light. This way, although technically not increasing the brightness of the panel, the technology increases the brightness of overall scenes as well as highlights, without compromising any contrast or detail.
GIGABYTE gives the user two transport modes:
- HyperNits High: For bright room use.
- HyperNits Medium: Dark room-calibrated use.
