Chuwi Upgrades AuBox X Mini PC With High Performance Intel Core Ultra 7 256V And Arc 140V Battlemage Architecture Graphics
Chuwi has introduced a new design for its AuBox X mini PC which follows the Ultra 5 variant release in March 2026. the updated system replaces the previous Intel Core Ultra 5 226V with the more powerful Core Ultra 7 256V. The hardware changes will enable users to experience better computing capabilities through a compact design that requires less space.
The Intel Arc 140V integrated GPU marks the most important technical improvement that this update brings. The new Arc 140V contains eight Battlemage cores while the previous model used Arc 130V. The benchmarks show that this GPU can achieve 30 frames per second or higher in most AAA titles when playing at 1080p with low settings. The new AuBox X becomes a suitable choice for users who want to play light games and complete work tasks.
The system resides in a 0.67 liter chassis which architects designed to meet the needs of locations with limited room. The comprehensive I/O suite enables connectivity which includes a USB4 port that serves as the required connection point for external GPU operations. The interface contains five USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A ports and one 2.5G LAN port and two HDMI 2.1 outputs and one DisplayPort 1.4 port. The unit comes with a USB Type C port that supports 100W Power Delivery and a standard 3.5 mm audio jack. WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 enable wireless network connections.
The AuBox X base system contains 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage space. Chuwi has added two M.2 slots to the system which enables future upgrades through one slot that supports the faster PCIe 5.0 standard. Users can enhance their storage performance through this option which allows them to add more storage while keeping their current storage solutions.
Chuwi set the initial price for the Intel Core Ultra 7 256V system at $759. The current pricing contains early bird discounts which promote the product. Customers should be aware that the $70 coupon will expire on May 20 2026. The unit price will return to its regular retail price after that date.
