Genesis G90 Wingback Performance Wagon Concept Unveiled in New York with Luxury Design and High Power Predictions
The G90 Wingback Performance Wagon Concept was presented to the world by Genesis. The luxury division of Hyundai Motor Group introduced Genesis G90 Wingback in New York City as their first premium estate market product. The design of this high performance vehicle redefines the flagship model as a sports wagon which features a distinctive Fern Green exterior and bold aerodynamic design. The designers created a new body shape through roofline extension and dual tail spoiler addition which maintains the G90 standard wheelbase measurement of 3.2 meters while creating an executive sedan appearance that breaks away from established design rules.
The Wingback project focuses on visual impact through its use of oversized 22 inch wheels and wider track design which creates a more stable appearance. The front of the vehicle displays a large black grille which creates a strong visual contrast with the green exterior. The luxury theme continues into the cabin through the extensive use of dark Chamude suede. The premium material receives accentuation through green contrast stitching which unifies the design elements into a sophisticated driver environment.
The production version of this athletic wagon will probably follow two power possibilities according to industry experts because official power figures are not yet confirmed. One possibility involves a tuned V6 engine delivering approximately 410 horsepower. Many enthusiasts are expecting the Magma performance line to include a V8 engine. The G90 Wingback could reach over 600 horsepower through Genesis selection of the last option. The high output capability enables South Korean automotive companies to compete with German manufacturers who produce the most powerful luxury station wagons. The company Genesis uses this strategy to demonstrate its desire to enter high performance lifestyle markets while staying within luxury market boundaries.
