HUAWEI Introduces Pura 90 Base Model With High End Hardware Features High Brightness OLED Display And Advanced Red Maple Camera Technology
HUAWEI Broadens Pura 90 Lineup with Feature Focused Entry Level Model HUAWEI introduced its base Pura 90 model after it released its premium version. The new series starts with this entry model which brings most of the Pro models high end hardware features. The manufacturer has opted for a streamlined architectural aesthetic that distinguishes it from the more complex layouts of the higher tier models while maintaining high performance standards.
The visual experience is anchored by a 6.84 inch LTPO OLED panel capable of dynamic refresh rates ranging from a single hertz up to 120 hertz. The display reaches its maximum brightness of 4000 nits while delivering a 2856 by 1320 pixel resolution which enables users to view content clearly during direct sunlight conditions. The rear chassis hosts a compact interpretation of the signature triangular camera housing that defines the current generation of Pura devices.
The Pura 90 uses its imaging system as the primary component for its visual processing. The device utilizes a 50 megapixel primary sensor enhanced by RYYB technology and optical image stabilization. The system includes a 50 megapixel telephoto lens which shows 3.7 times more detail and a 12.5 megapixel ultra wide sensor. The Red Maple spectral sensor serves as the most important feature because it provides dedicated hardware for accurate color reproduction. The device uses advanced light wave analysis technology to maintain color accuracy because it detects light waves at a higher level of detail than regular sensors. The front facing camera system uses a 50 megapixel sensor with autofocus capability to complete all imaging tasks.
The Kirin 9010S processor with HarmonyOS 6.1 handles all computational activities for the system. Users can configure the device with up to 16 gigabytes of memory and 512 gigabytes of onboard storage. The engineering team has prioritized longevity by integrating a massive 6500 milliamp hour battery. The battery enables fast charging with a maximum power of 100 watts through wired connections and 50 watts through wireless charging pads. The entire unit is sealed within a frame meeting IP68 and IP69 environmental protection ratings, ensuring resistance to dust and high pressure water ingress.
On May 9 prospective buyers can choose between black and white and purple color options. The entry level configuration providing 12 gigabytes of memory and 256 gigabytes of storage enters the market at 4699 yuan, roughly equivalent to 689 dollars. The 16 gigabyte memory and 512 gigabyte storage version costs 5699 yuan which equals about 835 dollars.
