Metal Gear Solid 4 Gameplay Revealed for Master Collection Volume 2

Metal Gear Solid 4 Port Gameplay Footage Reveals Technical Improvements and Master Collection Volume 2 Details for Modern Platforms

The complete gameplay broadcast released on WasyaganaTV YouTube Channel have gave everyone an extremely long glimpse into the brand new port of Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patriots, as there has been up to 1 hour of real time footage recorded that shows the opening chapters of stealth action, originally directed by Hideo Kojima. The footage is a momentous one, considering the title had been locked as exclusive only to the PlayStation 3 hardware for over 18 years.

The footage that has now been released have showed a vast number of improvements over the original release. Although the initial game had struggles with the frame rates dipping during high stress scenes it now has perfectly stable high frame rates using only the PlayStation 5's hardware. That being said, it seems that the new modern hardware doesn't struggle much when it comes to the computation the game engine used and not limited by hardware as the previous generation console.

The classic title will be available on modern machines through the soon to be released Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Volume 2 bundle. The package will include some classic titles all in one bundle: along with MGS4 they are Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker and Metal Gear Ghost Babel. The publishers are aiming for 5 different platforms in total to release on, including PC, PS5, Xbox Series, the Nintendo Switch and of course, the soon to be released Switch 2.
