Acer has expanded its mobile hardware portfolio with the introduction of the Sospiro A15 smartphone. According to official product release information the device stands out in the budget tier by incorporating a secondary display on the rear panel. This design choice is accompanied by a suite of artificial intelligence tools specifically programmed to optimize photography performance.
The primary screen of the Sospiro A15 is a 6.67 inch IPS panel that supports HD plus resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate to ensure smooth scrolling. On the back of the chassis a secondary 1.88 inch TFT display serves multiple functions. This smaller screen displays incoming notifications and audio playback controls. It also operates as a live viewfinder allowing users to frame high quality selfies using the main rear camera instead of the front sensor.
Internal processing is managed by a Unisoc T615 processor. The system includes 6 GB of physical RAM which can be expanded up to 14 GB by utilizing virtual memory allocation from the onboard storage. For files and applications the phone provides 128 GB of internal storage with the option to expand capacity up to 1 TB using a microSD card. The entire platform operates on the Android 16 operating system.
Both the primary rear camera and the front facing camera utilize 16 MP sensors. A 5000 mAh battery powers the hardware and supports 18W fast charging to minimize downtime. Physical durability is certified with an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance and biometric security is handled via a side mounted fingerprint scanner and facial recognition software.
The connectivity suite includes Wi Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and GPS tracking. The device also retains a 3.5 mm headphone jack for analog audio connections. Acer plans to distribute the smartphone in blue and orange color options. Information regarding retail pricing and regional release availability has not yet been finalized by the manufacturer.
