AyaNeo has announced the Konkr Pocket Advance, a new handheld console inspired by the classic Game Boy Advance. The device pairs a retro landscape form factor with upgraded screen specifications and modern internal hardware. But the brand has yet to share pricing or a firm launch schedule.
The handheld console features a 3.5 inch IPS display running at a 960x640 resolution. This setup provides a 3:2 aspect ratio, making it ideal for retro emulation. Physical controls sit on both sides of the screen, mimicking the horizontal layout of the original Nintendo console. Gamers get access to a standard D pad, physical ABXY buttons, dedicated menu keys, and shoulder triggers on the top corners.
For connectivity, the device includes a USB C port, a microSD card slot, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. A physical volume wheel sits right next to the audio output for quick adjustments. On the wireless side, AyaNeo confirmed support for both Wi Fi and Bluetooth. This ensures easy file transfers and wireless controller pairing.
Official promotional images showcase 2 distinct color options, specifically a vibrant orange and a classic blue. AyaNeo has not yet confirmed the underlying processor details or the retail price. More information is expected to emerge closer to the official release window.
