Plaud has announced the One Explorer Edition, a set of smart earbuds designed to work as a personal AI secretary. The audio wearable records, transcribes, and analyzes conversations in real time using a built in 4G cloud connection that works without a paired smartphone. The device is currently open for pre orders in the US starting at $249.
Unlike standard wireless earbuds that focus purely on music and phone calls, the Plaud One is built from the ground up for productivity tracking. It captures spoken audio while sitting in your ears and can also record meetings directly through the charging case placed on a desk. The onboard 4G modem keeps the hardware linked directly to cloud servers at all times. This eliminates the need to tether the hardware to a mobile phone during business meetings.
Previous voice recording gadgets from the company, such as the Note Pro and NotePin, focused strictly on basic audio capture. The new system goes further by learning your ongoing conversation history through a neural network called Plaud Agent. The software connects context between separate discussions over days or weeks. If you mention sending an email to a client during a morning chat, the system logs that detail and generates a reminder later.
Direct workplace integrations allow the assistant to turn spoken words into actual administrative work. The software links directly with tools like Gmail, Google Calendar, Notion, and Slack. It parses meeting audio to create calendar events, assign tasks, and draft follow up messages automatically.
Plaud has opened pre orders for the One Explorer Edition at a retail price of $249. Early buyers receive $200 worth of AI service credits bundled in the box to cover computational fees for advanced language model features. Initial customer shipments are scheduled to go out toward the end of September.
