Remedy Entertainment has announced that Control Resonant will arrive soon alongside a new hardware promotion with Nvidia. The sequel to the award winning action title moves the supernatural conflict into Manhattan with Dylan Faden as the lead protagonist. Buyers of select GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards and laptops will receive a Steam copy of the game with their purchase.
The story shifts the focus away from Jesse Faden and puts players in control of her brother Dylan. The paranatural corruption has breached the Oldest House and spilled directly into the streets of New York. Danger is everywhere. Players must master supernatural abilities to survive an urban landscape overrun by the chaotic Hiss and the biological threat known as the Mold.
On the technical side, the PC version is built to showcase modern graphics hardware. The game will launch with DLSS 4.5 support, bringing full path tracing to replace standard ray tracing effects. Nvidia confirmed that new features like Ray Reconstruction and Dynamic Multi Frame Generation will run on GeForce RTX 50 Series cards to boost frame rates while maintaining high visual fidelity.
Nvidia is bundling the game with high tier desktop GPUs and laptops to drive adoption of its newest generation. Qualifying hardware includes the GeForce RTX 5090, 5080, 5070 Ti, and standard 5070 models. Gamers who purchase eligible systems from participating retailers can redeem the code through the Nvidia desktop app to add the game directly to their Steam library.
