Thermaltake has released the AX 3200W, a massive power supply built specifically for high power AI workstations. The unit delivers 3200W of continuous power, features 4 native 12V 2x6 connectors, and carries an 80 PLUS Platinum efficiency rating. It is currently available on Chinese retail platforms for 4399 RMB about 653.96$ US.
The chassis uses an ATX form factor measuring 200 millimeters in length. Inside the unit, Thermaltake built a single plus 12V rail design packed exclusively with Japanese electrolytic capacitors rated for 105 degrees Celsius. It fully satisfies the ATX12V 3.1 standard. It also delivers a hold up time greater than 17 milliseconds to prevent workstation shutdowns during sudden voltage drops.
Workstations running multiple GPUs produce intense heat. Thermaltake handles this with an integrated 140 millimeter dual ball bearing fan tuned for quiet cooling under full loads. Power delivery is handled through a full modular cable system featuring low profile embossed wires that help keep workstation interiors clean and organized.
