1MORE has launched the Classic HQ36, a pair of retro styled on ear headphones built for everyday wired and wireless listening. The headphones combine a vintage audio aesthetic with modern Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity, LDAC support, and active noise cancellation. The set is available in black and brown finishes starting at $79.99.
At the center of the acoustic setup are 40 mm dynamic drivers fitted with a composite diaphragm and a dual magnetic circuit. 1MORE tuned the internal hardware for detailed output, earning the headphones an official Hi Res Wireless certification. Listeners streaming over Bluetooth 6.0 can use the LDAC codec to push high bitrate audio from compatible phones and media players. The software package also includes spatial audio with head tracking, giving tracks a wider soundstage. Users can pick from 6 preset audio profiles or adjust specific equalizer bands through the official 1MORE mobile app.
For cutting down ambient racket, the headphones rely on a QuietMax hybrid noise cancelling setup that reduces outside noise by up to 36 dB. You can quickly switch between active noise reduction, a transparency pass through mode, and normal playback. Battery life is a strong point here. The built in 500 mAh cell delivers up to 60 hours of music on a full charge, giving daily commuters plenty of runtime before needing a plug.
The exterior takes clear inspiration from classic studio gear with its textured finish and compact earcups.
