Acer has launched the Swift Air 14, an aluminum laptop running on the new Intel Wildcat Lake platform. Weighing only 1.19kg, the machine offers up to 19 hours of battery life alongside a 120Hz display. The notebook is currently rolling out in Singapore and European markets with a starting price of 1,199 SGD about 943.10$ US.
The hardware centers on Intel Wildcat Lake architecture, giving buyers 3 processor tiers to choose from. Configurations include the Core 3 304, Core 5 320, and Core 7 350. The top tier Core 7 variant runs a 6 core, 6 thread setup that reaches maximum boost speeds of up to 4.8GHz. For multitasking, the system supports up to 12GB of internal memory.
The screen uses a 14 inch IPS panel featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 350 nits. Power comes from an internal 70Wh battery built to handle long working days away from a power outlet. Acer states the machine can run up to 19 hours of continuous video playback on a single charge. This makes it a practical option for travelers who prefer to leave heavy power bricks behind.
Despite the slim aluminum body and low weight of 1.19kg, the port selection covers essential daily needs. The machine features 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports for high speed data transfers and display output, alongside 1 USB 3.2 Type A port and a 3.5mm audio jack. The Swift Air 14 is available now in Singapore starting at 1,199 SGD, with wider European availability expanding this week.
