Predator Series Delivers 1000 Hz Esports Speed and Tandem OLED Panels
Speed is the primary focus of the new Predator XB253Q U1. Built for competitive players, this 24.5 inch IPS monitor reaches a 1000 Hz refresh rate at 1080p resolution with a 0.3 ms response time. It comes with a Circular Polarizer filter to cut down glare and eye fatigue during long play sessions, alongside DisplayHDR 400 support and compatibility with both AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G SYNC. Acer plans to launch it in early 2027 for $1,099.99.
Visual enthusiasts get the Predator X32 V3, a 31.5 inch QD OLED screen that uses a 5 layer Penta Tandem structure to boost panel life and brightness. It runs 4K resolution at 180 Hz, carries VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, and covers 99% of the DCI P3 color spectrum with factory calibrated color accuracy. It hits the market in early 2027 priced at $899.99.
For hybrid users, the 27 inch Predator XB273K V7 lets you toggle between 4K resolution at 160 Hz and 1080p at 500 Hz with frame rate switching tech. It also serves as a complete desk hub with a built in KVM switch and a USB Type C port delivering 90W of power. It arrives in early 2027 for $1,199.99.
Ultrawide fans have the curved 34 inch Nitro XZ340CKR P, which outputs 5120x2160 resolution at 180 Hz for open world games, with an option to drop to 1080p at 360 Hz for competitive matches. It is priced at $699.99 and ships late this year.
Acer also introduced two screens featuring tri mode switching technology. The 27 inch Nitro XV275U Z2 and Nitro XV270U Z3 allow players to choose between 1440p at 275 Hz, 1080p at 360 Hz, or 720p at 520 Hz. The Z2 version includes 1152 Mini LED dimming zones and HDR1000 for $329.99 late this year, while the standard Z3 IPS model costs $299.99 in early 2027.

Creative professionals get the 27 inch ProDesigner PE270X P, which outputs 5K clarity at 5120x2880 resolution.
