AOC has introduced the U27U4, a high resolution commercial monitor built around a QD OLED Penta Tandem panel. The 26.5 inch display offers 4K resolution at 120Hz alongside factory calibrated color accuracy and an ultra fast 0.03ms response time. This display will arrive in stores shortly alongside a larger 32 inch companion model.
The screen uses a Black AGLR anti glare coating to diffuse ambient reflections without hurting black levels. It carries VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, reaching a peak brightness of 1000 nits on a 3% window and 250 nits across a full 100% white screen. The static contrast ratio stands at 1.5M:1. Color reproduction covers 100% sRGB and 99% DCI P3 with a Delta E value below 1 for precise design work.
Connectivity options on the rear hub cater directly to multi computer desks. You get 1 HDMI 2.1 port, 1 DisplayPort 1.4 connection, and 3 USB A ports running at 10Gbps data speeds. The monitor also packs 2 USB C upstream ports, 1 of which delivers 96W power delivery and DisplayPort Alt mode to charge a laptop over a single wire. A separate downstream USB C port supplies 15W of power for accessories. Built in KVM switching allows users to control 2 separate computers with a single keyboard and mouse, supported by Picture in Picture and Picture by Picture modes.
Audio is handled by 2 built in 5W speakers for basic desk sound. The included stand offers full 4 way ergonomic adjustment to let users change height, tilt, swivel, and pivot orientation. AOC also confirmed plans for a companion model called the U32U4, which brings the same QD OLED panel technology to a 32 inch format for buyers wanting more screen real estate.
