Asus has opened reservations for the Poxiao Air PX476CMA, a new lightweight business laptop built for mobile professionals. The machine packs an Intel Core 7 350 processor, a 14 inch 120Hz OLED screen, and a 65Whr battery inside an ultra thin aluminum chassis. Buyers can reserve the laptop at an initial promotional price of 6999 yuan, which converts to roughly $980 USD, down from its standard retail tag of 7499 yuan or about $1050 USD.
The entire body is carved from aluminum alloy using CNC machining for extra rigidity. It measures just 10.4 millimeters thick and weighs 1.23 kilograms, making it easy to carry in a briefcase. The built in 65Whr battery delivers up to 26 hours of runtime on a full charge. Cooling acoustics are tuned specifically for quiet office environments. Fan noise drops under 25dB in silent mode and stays below 32dB during standard tasks. Even in performance mode, output caps at 40dB.
Input hardware includes a backlit keyboard with 1mm key travel for typing comfort. Below the keys sits a glass touchpad backed by 6 independent sensors that provide precise haptic feedback. This setup allows for accurate navigation without requiring an external mouse.
The laptop features a 14 inch OLED panel running at 2880 by 1800 resolution with a fluid 120Hz refresh rate. Physical connectivity includes 2 full feature USB C ports running at 10Gbps, 1 USB A port at 5Gbps, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack.
