AZZA has launched the TRAIL, a chassis designed specifically for AI workstations and dense compute setups. The case can house up to 4 dual slot graphics cards measuring 370 millimeters and supports both tower and rackmount deployments. It marks a clean shift from the brand's usual open frame showcase designs toward practical enterprise hardware.
Built with 1.0 to 1.2 millimeter SGCC steel plates, the chassis is structured to handle heavy hardware without flexing. It offers 8 full height expansion slots and accommodates large motherboards ranging from standard ATX up to SSI EEB and E ATX sizes. For powering dense compute configurations, builders can install either standard ATX power supplies or 2U CRPS redundant units. Multi card support brackets are included to keep heavy graphics cards secure.
Storage options behind the front door are extensive. You get 2 external 5.25 inch bays, 1 dedicated 3.5 inch bay, and 2 separate drive cages holding 4 drives each, bringing the 3.5 inch capacity up to 8 drives with a backplane rated for 12Gbps data transfers. The front I O panel provides 2 USB A 5Gbps ports, 1 USB C port, a 3.5 millimeter audio jack, a reset button, and a power button. A physical key lock on the front panel prevents unauthorized access to internal drives.
Cooling is handled by industrial fans designed to move air through high heat enterprise setups. Behind the front panel sits a bracket holding 3 12038 fans that can be swapped out for a 360 millimeter liquid radiator. The rear exhaust uses 2 8038 high speed fans spinning at 6300 RPM to push heat out quickly. Users can also mount an auxiliary cooling fan near the rear graphics cards for extra thermal dissipation. The bottom feet rotate 90 degrees to deliver extra stability when standing vertically as a tower.
