FEVM has released the FA80G in China as a direct follow up to its previous FA65G gaming mini PC. The machine pairs socketed AMD AM5 desktop processors with Nvidia RTX 50 series laptop graphics inside a compact 2.6 liter chassis. Pricing starts at approximately $1,132 for the base hardware package and climbs to $3,600 for the top configuration.

Buyers can select from 7 distinct hardware configurations. The entry option matches an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X desktop processor with an Nvidia RTX 5060 8GB laptop graphics chip. Stepping up brings options for the Ryzen 7 7800X3D and Ryzen 7 9800X3D gaming processors paired with RTX 5080 16GB or RTX 5090 24GB GPUs. The absolute flagship build packs the 16 core Ryzen 9 9950X3D alongside the RTX 5090. Because these are standard AM5 desktop chips rather than soldered silicon, owners can swap or upgrade the processor in the future.

Keeping high wattage components cool in a tiny case requires serious airflow. FEVM relies on 4 copper heatpipes and a zoned thermal design to isolate heat sources. The chassis allows the AMD desktop processor to pull up to 90W of sustained power, while the Nvidia graphics chip can draw up to 150W during demanding gaming sessions.

Internal expansion options are generous for a build of this footprint. The mainboard contains 2 SO DIMM memory slots that support up to 128GB of DDR5 RAM. For fast local storage, 2 internal M.2 slots can each handle solid state drives of up to 8TB.

The external port selection remains practically identical to the earlier FA65G chassis. You get 2 USB Type C ports, 6 USB 3.2 Type A ports, 2 separate 2.5GbE network jacks, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Video output options include 1 HDMI 2.0 port, 1 HDMI 2.1 port, and 2 DisplayPort 2.0 connections. A full size SD card reader is also built into the case for quick photo and video file transfers.
