HKC has launched the Aegis 25Q360B gaming monitor in China featuring a 24.5 inch QD MiniLED panel. The display pairs a 2560x1440 resolution with a native 360Hz refresh rate and 1152 local dimming zones. Presale pricing starts at 1999 yuan with the standard retail price set at 2599 yuan.
The backlight array relies on quantum dot technology combined with 1152 separate physical zones to control light bleed and halos. It offers 4 dimming modes ranging from high to completely disabled for different types of content. Peak brightness reaches 1400 nits under VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certification with a contrast ratio of 300,000 to 1. Color performance covers 98.5% of DCI P3, 98.5% of Adobe RGB, and 100% of sRGB with factory color accuracy rated at Delta E under 2.
Competitive players get a Fast IPS screen with a 1ms response time and a pixel density of roughly 120 PPI. To cut down on motion blur, HKC added its proprietary DIC 2.0 technology.
