HMD has introduced the Vibe2 Pro, an affordable smartphone featuring a 6000 mAh battery, a 120 Hz screen, and a 64 MP Sony main sensor. The device runs on Android 16 with integrated AI tools while keeping practical hardware like a 3.5 mm audio jack and microSD card expansion. It is set to launch starting at $180.
The front of the HMD Vibe2 Pro carries a 6.78 inch IPS screen with Full HD+ resolution and a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, delivering 5G connectivity for daily mobile tasks. Software is handled by Android 16 out of the box, with HMD integrating on device AI features directly into the operating system.
A massive 6000 mAh battery powers the phone, supported by 33W wired fast charging for quicker top ups. Photography duties rely on a 64 MP Sony IMX682 main camera alongside a 2 MP macro sensor on the rear panel. Selfie duties and video calls are handled by a 13 MP front facing camera centered in the display.
HMD included hardware features that many modern phones leave out. You get a dedicated 3.5 mm headphone port, stereo speakers, a USB C connection, and a microSD expansion slot alongside a side mounted fingerprint scanner. Wireless connectivity includes Wi Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and dual SIM 5G network support.
The phone will arrive in green, purple, and silver color options. Buyers can choose between a 6GB RAM model with 128GB storage for $180 or an 8GB RAM option with 128GB storage priced at $200.
