Vivo sub brand iQOO has revealed the iQOO Pad Ultra, an 8.8 inch gaming tablet equipped with an internal active cooling fan. The device packs an all metal chassis measuring just 5.74 millimeters thick while weighing only 298 grams. Official teasers from the company showcase a compact design engineered directly for portable gaming performance.
Active cooling fans are rare in compact tablets, but iQOO engineered a miniature fan directly inside the casing. The fan measures 30 by 30 by 3.5 millimeters, spinning at speeds up to 14500 rpm to push 0.94 CFM of airflow across a heat dissipation area of 1661 square millimeters. Leaks indicate the tablet runs on a 2nm Snapdragon processor backed by a 9000mAh battery. A square rear camera module includes dedicated exhaust vents to expel heat during long gaming sessions.
Touch response is tuned specifically for competitive players. The display supports a 500Hz multi finger touch sampling rate and can peak at 5000Hz for instantaneous inputs. Inside, dual X axis linear motors deliver tactile vibration, working alongside symmetrical dual linear speakers for stereo audio. A next generation gyroscope is also built into the board to handle motion controls in racing or shooter titles.
The 8.8 inch OLED panel features very narrow borders around all 4 sides and a centered camera cutout. Buyers can choose between 2 finishes named Ender Black and Star Armor Silver. For players who want physical controls, iQOO is preparing 2 optional accessories including an expandable clip on gamepad and an ergonomic rear grip.
