The handheld features a 5.84 inch Carta 1300 panel with 300 PPI clarity and a 50 frame per second high speed refresh mode. It is currently available on JD.com with introductory pricing starting at 1,599 yuan (approx. $238 USD).
The standout feature of the Tango2S is its high clarity reading surface. iReader opted for a 1576x788 resolution screen built on the Carta 1300 electronic paper generation. At 300 PPI, text reproduction remains sharp for book reading and article browsing. The screen also supports a 50 frames per second refresh mode, which cuts down on the ghosting effects common to slower electronic ink panels.
Unlike bulky tablet readers, this model uses a smartphone silhouette that fits into a pocket. The entire body measures 154.3 x 77.3 x 7.7 millimeters and weighs just 147 grams.
