Lenovo has opened pre orders for its Lecoo Douzhanzhe AI NAS 900 series private cloud server in China. The system runs on fnOS software with support for Windows drivers, packing up to 64GB of RAM and 4 high speed SSD bays. Pricing starts at 6,999 yuan (approx. $1,043 USD) for the base model and climbs to 17,999 yuan (approx. $2,682 USD) for the flagship Pro edition.
Lenovo offers 2 distinct hardware tiers to suit different workload sizes. The entry AI NAS 900 model runs on an Intel Ultra 7 355 processor paired with 16GB of memory and a 512GB system drive. Power users looking for heavier local AI computing can opt for the AI NAS 900 Pro, which steps up to an Intel Ultra X9 388H chip alongside 64GB of fast LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of base storage. Both machines run on the specialized fnOS platform, but Lenovo also bundles full Windows system drivers for users who prefer standard desktop operating environments.
Storage expansion relies entirely on solid state performance rather than noisy mechanical hard drives. The motherboard features 4 independent M.2 PCIe 4.0 slots for installing high speed NVMe storage. On the data protection side, the system offers full stack native RAID support covering RAID 0, RAID 1, and RAID 5 arrays. It is also tuned to work with the ZFS file system, giving storage administrators access to advanced RAID Z1 and RAID Z2 data redundancy pools to prevent data loss.
Network speeds are built around dual 2.5G RJ45 ethernet ports. Combining both ports through link aggregation unlocks up to 5Gbps of local network throughput.
