MSI has shared full specifications for the EdgeMesa N AI+, a compact desktop built around the Nvidia RTX Spark platform. The system packs up to 128 GB of fast RAM, a 20 core processor, and 10 GbE networking into a small form factor. But pricing and launch timing remain unconfirmed.
MSI updated its global website with hardware details following an earlier preview at Computex. The machine aims directly at high performance rivals like the Mac Studio and AMD Strix Halo systems. Buyers can equip the computer with up to 128 GB of LPDDR5x 9600 memory and 4 TB of storage on 1 M.2 drive. MSI also listed a higher tier model called the EdgeMesa N AI+ X, though exact differences between the 2 versions remain unclear.
Cooling a compact desktop requires serious thermal management. MSI uses a vapour chamber combined with standard air fans to cool the 20 core Nvidia RTX Spark chip. A 240 W power adapter supplies juice to the system.
Port selection is generous for a mini PC. The chassis includes 4 USB Type C ports running at 20 Gbps, with 3 of them supporting DisplayPort 1.4 Alt Mode for multiple monitors. You also get 1 HDMI 2.1b connection and 1 fast RJ45 port for 10 GbE wired networks. Other brands like Acer, Asus, and Honor have shown competing RTX Spark hardware, but MSI has now put its cards on the table with full specs.
