OPPO has introduced the Enco X4, the first wireless earbuds in the series to support 24 bit lossless audio streaming. Engineered in partnership with Dynaudio, the earbuds pack a dual driver acoustic setup, upgraded noise cancellation, and real time language translation. The hardware is currently available in China for 1199 yuan, which is roughly $179.
The internal sound architecture relies on a coaxial dual driver system created alongside Dynaudio. Inside each earbud sits an 11 mm woofer combined with a 6 mm tweeter for high frequency clarity. OPPO states that this configuration delivers a 50% increase in low frequency power and reduces total sound distortion by 20% compared to the earlier Enco X3 model.
Audio processing is handled by an onboard 6 nm chip. The upgraded data transmission pipeline allows the earbuds to stream wireless audio at up to 48 kHz and 24 bit resolution without data loss. Spatial sound processing is also handled directly on the earbud hardware rather than relying on external smartphone computing.
The active noise cancellation system adjusts intensity automatically based on your immediate environment. OPPO rates the system for up to 200% higher overall noise reduction, while human voice reduction improves by up to 250%. During phone calls, 4 microphones work with a Voice Processing Unit to isolate speech. The system can suppress background noises up to 110 dB and handle wind gusts up to 15 meters per second.
Mobile gamers get a dedicated low latency mode that drops wireless delay to 39 ms. The earbuds also include a standalone live translation feature supporting more than 20 languages. This translation tool works on both Android and iOS smartphones, making the feature accessible regardless of operating system.
Connectivity runs on Bluetooth 6.1 and allows simultaneous pairing with 2 devices. Listening without noise cancellation provides up to 13 hours of playback from the earbuds alone. Pairing them with the charging case extends that total playtime to 53 hours when listening to standard AAC audio.
Turning on active noise cancellation lowers playback to 6 hours on the earbuds and 26 hours total with the case. Plugging the case in for a quick 10 minute charge restores 4.5 hours of listening time. The storage case supports both standard wired charging and wireless charging pads.
