OPPO has expanded its budget lineup with the launch of the K15x. The smartphone packs a massive 6500 mAh battery, a smooth 120 Hz screen, and a durable IP64 rated chassis. It is currently available starting at $200.
The front of the phone houses a 6.75 inch display with 720p resolution and built in eye protection features. While the resolution remains modest, the panel refreshes at 120 Hz for smoother animations and scrolling. Under the hood, OPPO opted for the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. The silicon works alongside the proprietary Tide Engine software system to keep frame rates steady and prevent thermal slowdowns during prolonged use.
Battery endurance is the clear highlight of this release. The 6500 mAh cell supports 45W fast charging and is engineered to survive 1800 discharge cycles. According to OPPO testing data, a user who drains the phone once every 1.2 days will retain at least 80% of total battery health after 6 years of daily operation. That level of hardware longevity remains exceptionally rare in entry level devices.
The exterior carries an IP64 rating to resist dust ingress and accidental water splashes. On the camera side, the onboard sensor uses AI editing tools to clean up quick snaps. These software features include automated clarity correction and an expression selector that finds the best facial poses in group images. OPPO offers the K15x in white and purple colors. The base 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model sells for $200, while the upgraded 6GB RAM and 256GB storage edition costs $240.
