Peladn has expanded its WO5 mini PC lineup with a new budget configuration. The compact desktop pairs an AMD Ryzen 5 3500U processor with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of solid state storage. The unit is currently available in China for 1549 yuan, which converts to roughly $215.
The updated machine runs on a 4 core, 8 thread AMD Ryzen 5 3500U processor that boosts up to 3.7GHz with a 15W TDP. Memory expansion is handled by 2 SO DIMM slots running DDR4 at 2666MHz, currently populated with an 8GB stick. For internal storage, buyers get a 256GB drive fitted into a PCIe 3.0 x4 2280 M.2 slot. An extra SATA3 2242 M.2 slot is also open for adding a second drive later on.
The chassis keeps a square, black exterior built for small desks. Up front, you get 2 USB A 3.2 Gen2 ports for quick thumb drive access. The back panel houses 2 HDMI 2.0 ports, 1 Gigabit RJ45 ethernet jack, 2 USB A 2.0 ports, and 1 full function USB C port that handles both display and data output. Wireless connectivity covers both Wi Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0, making it ready for modern home or office setups right out of the box.
