Realme has introduced the realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition, a themed mid range smartphone created in official partnership with Warner Bros Discovery. The device pairs an exclusive Hogwarts crest back panel with a custom magical software interface over standard hardware. Official pricing and regional launch details have not yet been revealed.
The visual overhaul is the main draw for collectors. On the rear glass, the phone features an engraved Hogwarts school crest surrounded by gold and brown accents. Realme also customized the software experience. The phone runs Realme UI 7.0 on top of Android 16, complete with custom magical animations, themed app icons, and exclusive wallpapers.
Realme introduced matching realme Buds T500 Pro Harry Potter Edition earbuds alongside the phone. These wireless earbuds use the same brown and gold color scheme and display the Hogwarts emblem right on the charging case. Both items are clearly built to appeal directly to franchise enthusiasts.
Realme kept the internal hardware identical to the standard model. Up front is a 6.78 inch AMOLED screen with 1272x2772 resolution and a fast 144 Hz refresh rate. The panel reaches 1400 nits peak brightness, delivers 450 ppi sharpness, and covers 100% of the DCI P3 color gamut. It also features a 240 Hz touch sampling rate for responsive input.
Under the hood sits a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max processor with Arm Mali G615 graphics. Buyers can pick between 8GB or 12GB of RAM paired with up to 256GB of internal storage. Performance should be plenty fast for daily multitasking and gaming.
The camera array remains untouched from the base model. You get a massive 200 MP primary camera with an f/1.8 lens for detailed shots in good lighting. Sitting next to it is an 8 MP ultra wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture. Selfies are handled by a 50 MP front facing camera tucked into the top of the display.
The battery is massive. Realme packed a 7000 mAh cell into the chassis, which should easily deliver two days of regular use between charges. When power runs low, the 80W fast wired charging gets the phone back up and running quickly without keeping you waiting by a wall outlet.
