RedMagic has confirmed the upcoming China debut for its RedMagic 12 Pro+ gaming smartphone. The flagship arrives with a redesigned grip friendly body, next generation under display camera tech, and the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme 6 processor. Full retail pricing remains a secret until the official stage event.
The front of the phone is built around an edge to edge screen that eliminates punch holes entirely. You get a completely uninterrupted view. RedMagic achieved this by tucking the front camera underneath the glass panel. Borders around the display measure a tiny 0.96 millimeters. The chassis also sheds weight, adopting a slimmer profile that feels much easier to hold during long gaming sessions.
Raw gaming speed comes from the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme 6 processor. Mobile gaming hardware produces intense heat under heavy loads. To stop throttling, the engineering team came up with fresh internal cooling tricks. Specific thermal hardware details remain tightly guarded for now. Software updates also play a big part here, bringing a cleaner operating system skin and built in artificial intelligence tools aimed at keeping gameplay smooth.
RedMagic plans to show off the full device in China next month. The company has not revealed sticker prices or an international release schedule yet. Expect those details once the presentation begins.
