Thermaltake has launched the AX1000 TG AI Workstation Chassis alongside the stackable AX200 expansion module for extreme computing setups. The massive dual system chassis accommodates two full SSI EEB motherboards, 20 PCIe slots, and up to 29 cooling fans for high compute workloads. Available in black and snow editions, the AX1000 TG costs approximately $1040 USD while the AX200 pedestal retails for around $410 USD.
The AX1000 is built specifically for users who need 2 complete computers inside 1 frame. It supports two XL ATX or SSI EEB motherboards simultaneously, with 10 PCIe slots allocated to each system for a total of 20 expansion slots. That leaves plenty of room for multiple graphics cards measuring up to 630 mm in length. Dual front I/O panels let you power on and control each system independently. Builders can also install an optional 3.9 inch LCD screen kit to monitor temperatures and system stats in real time through the TT RGB PLUS 3.0 software.
Cooling a twin computer setup requires serious airflow. The case handles this by supporting up to 29 fans in 120 mm or 140 mm sizes. Radiator support is equally massive, with space for two 420 mm all in one liquid coolers or dual 560 mm custom liquid loops. The left side uses a hinged tempered glass panel to display your parts, while the right panel uses a full mesh design to draw in fresh air. Storage capacity reaches up to 24 drives, accepting any combination of 3.5 inch hard drives or 2.5 inch solid state drives.
For setups that outgrow the main chassis, Thermaltake designed the AX200 pedestal. You can stack this unit directly above or below the main case to add more hardware. The module holds 16 extra 3.5 inch or 2.5 inch drives, 9 fans, two 560 mm radiators, and 2 standard PS2 power supplies. Pricing in Taiwan is set at 32,890 NTD for the AX1000 TG, which translates to roughly $1040 USD. The AX200 expansion unit is priced at 12,890 NTD, or about $410 USD.
