Ubiquiti has expanded its enterprise hardware lineup with the Enterprise Campus Switch Core, known as the ECS Core. Designed for high volume corporate network backbones, the 1U rackmount switch delivers 32 separate 100G QSFP28 ports and 3.2Tbps of total throughput. The flagship networking unit is now available for enterprise deployments priced at $4999.
The ECS Core targets high density corporate environments where raw data speed is essential. It provides 32 dedicated 100G QSFP28 ports along with 1 gigabit RJ 45 management port and a console connection. The internal hardware achieves a total non blocking throughput of 3.2Tbps and a packet forwarding rate of 2.8 billion packets per second. To keep critical corporate operations running without interruption, the 1U chassis includes redundant power modules and 5 hot swappable cooling fans. Network administrators can also configure multi chassis link aggregation alongside a complete suite of layer 2 and layer 3 routing tools.
Ubiquiti also introduced a second model designed for campus distribution called the Enterprise Campus 48S PoE, or ECS 48S PoE. Priced at $3999, this switch blends high speed uplink capacity with massive power delivery for connected endpoints. It features 32 ports of 2.5G RJ 45 and 16 ports of 10G RJ 45, with all 48 ports supporting advanced high wattage power delivery over ethernet. Uplink connectivity is handled by 4 separate 25G SFP28 ports and 2 ultra fast 100G QSFP28 slots, providing enough bandwidth to prevent local data bottlenecks.
