UBTech has opened a massive manufacturing facility in Liuzhou capable of building over 10,000 humanoid robots annually. The 14,000 square meter plant is designed to assemble industrial machines like the Walker S Series and Cruzr Series at a pace of 1 unit every 10 minutes. The move marks a major shift from experimental prototyping to full scale factory production.
The assembly line uses heavy automation where humanoid machines actively assist in building their own hardware. Working units manage material loading and pallet transportation across the floor, while robotic arms handle the precision work of fastening more than 2,000 individual screws into each chassis. This setup cuts down manual labor while keeping build speed consistent across shifts.
To coordinate plant logistics, UBTech worked with Siemens Digital Industries Software to create a digital simulation of the entire facility. This virtual twin models material flow and equipment workloads in advance to prevent physical bottlenecks on the floor. Every unit leaving the assembly line receives a unique serial number linked to its full build history, component records, and inspection logs for long term servicing.
