ViewSonic has released the VX27G81 2K 9, a 27 inch gaming monitor built around a high speed Fast IPS panel. The display runs at a native 200Hz refresh rate with overclocking up to 240Hz at 2560x1440 resolution. It is currently available on retail platforms starting at 999 yuan.
The monitor uses a 27 inch Fast IPS screen with a 2560x1440 QHD resolution for sharp gaming visuals. Response times reach 1ms grey to grey to keep ghosting minimal during rapid movement. Typical brightness hits 400 nits along with a standard 1000:1 contrast ratio. Color coverage covers 100% sRGB, 94% DCI P3, and 92% Adobe RGB, with average Delta E accuracy rated below 2. This balance gives players competitive speeds alongside color reliability for everyday media work.
Variable refresh rate support comes built into the display to eliminate screen tearing during gameplay. Eye comfort features include hardware level low blue light filtering and flicker free backlighting to reduce eye fatigue over long sessions. The port selection includes 2 HDMI 2.1 ports and 1 DisplayPort 1.4 connection. For desk mounting, the rear housing supports standard 75x75 mm VESA wall mounts and monitor arms.
ViewSonic offers the standard black version of the VX27G81 2K 9 for 999 yuan (approx. $149 USD) on major online retail channels. A white edition under the model name VX27G81 2K W 9 is also available for 1,049 yuan (approx. $156 USD). Both versions share identical internal components, leaving casing color as the only difference between them.
