The APEX 16 runs on AMD hardware, offering buyers a choice between the Ryzen 9 8945HX and the top tier Ryzen 9 9955HX. Upgrading to the 9955HX processor requires an additional 125 euros over the base configuration. The 16 inch display delivers a 2560x1600 resolution with 500 nits of brightness and a 300Hz refresh rate. A 3 fan cooling module handles thermal management across the internal components. The total machine weight sits at 2.35 kilograms with a 99.8Wh battery inside. Storage expansion includes 2 M.2 SSD slots and a dedicated microSD card reader.

Buyers looking for Intel processing power can select the PRO 16 VE, which packs the Core i9 14900HX processor. This variant features the same 16 inch 300Hz screen and 3 fan cooling system, but allows total system power delivery up to 195W. Memory expansion relies on 2 DDR5 SO DIMM slots, while storage runs through 2 PCIe Gen4 M.2 connections. Network speeds get a boost from integrated Wi Fi 7 support for lower ping and faster file transfers.

According to official release details from XMG, both machines start at $2399 including 19% VAT for the baseline 32GB RAM and 1TB solid state drive setup. The choice comes down to silicon preference. AMD buyers get a larger 99.8Wh battery for extended unplugged use, while the Intel build prioritizes maximum power output and newer wireless standards.
