MINISFORUM has launched the MS 01 SE, a compact workstation powered by an Intel Core i5 12600H processor, 32GB of DDR4 memory, and a 1TB SSD. This revised edition alters the networking and expansion layout of the original hardware while maintaining support for Intel vPro technology. The complete configuration is now available on retail platforms priced at 6399 yuan, which converts to roughly $885 USD.
The MS 01 SE retains the compact chassis form factor of the original version but brings several internal adjustments to target a lower price point. The internal PCIe Gen4 expansion slot operates with 4 lanes instead of a full bandwidth configuration. Around the back, MINISFORUM replaced the dual 10GbE SFP+ networking ports with standard USB A 480Mbps connections. Wireless connectivity shifts to a MediaTek MT7902 module providing Wi Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 support.
Storage options remain versatile with 3 dedicated M.2 2280 drive slots. These slots support different speeds across the board, covering PCIe Gen4 x4, Gen3 x4, and Gen3 x2 configurations. External physical connections feature 2 USB C 40Gbps ports alongside 2 RJ 45 ports running at 2.5GbE speeds for stable wired networking. The workstation platform meets all Intel vPro requirements, allowing IT staff to manage systems remotely in professional business environments.
