Razer has launched the Huntsman V3 Pro Mini, bringing an 8000 Hz polling rate and analog optical switches to a 60% form factor. The ultra compact keyboard offers adjustable actuation alongside Rapid Trigger technology to cut input latency down to 0.48 ms. The device is now available across European markets for 190 euros.
Razer equips the board with its Gen 2 Analog Optical Switches, which carry an endurance rating of 100,000,000 clicks. Players can calibrate the actuation point anywhere between 0.1 and 4.0 mm for fine tuned sensitivity. Rapid Trigger mode allows keys to reset instantly the moment they travel upward, eliminating the physical delay found in traditional mechanical keyboards. The True 8000 Hz HyperPolling system transmits keystrokes 8 times faster than standard 1000 Hz peripherals, delivering a response time of 0.48 ms. The firmware also includes an Advanced Input Control suite with Snap Tap, Snap Flex, Dynamic Keystroke, and Dual Keypress Priority to optimize movement commands during esports matches.
The exterior uses a top plate machined from 5052 aircraft grade aluminum alloy with a clean matte finish. Textured doubleshot PBT keycaps resist shine and surface wear over heavy use sessions. Despite the compact 60% footprint, the keyboard maintains navigation options through dual purpose modifier keys. A quick tap on the bottom right modifiers triggers standard arrow commands, while holding them down preserves their original modifier function.
Hardware settings do not require background software to function. Users can adjust basic sensitivity levels and switch between 6 onboard profiles directly through the number row. Deeper customization is handled through the Synapse Web browser tool, removing the need to install desktop client software on tournament systems. The Razer Huntsman V3 Pro Mini retails for 190 euros in Europe.
