DapuStor introduced several high capacity enterprise storage solutions during the 18th International Conference on Networking, Architecture, and Storage. The lineup includes 245TB and 512TB EDSFF QLC solid state drives alongside the R6101C model offering hardware compression ratios up to 4:1. These drives target AI data centers that require extreme density and liquid cooling to manage thermal loads.
The 245TB and 512TB storage units use QLC flash inside an EDSFF form factor to increase server rack density. DapuStor paired these large units with the R6101C drive, which handles real time data compression directly on the storage controller. This hardware compression reaches ratios up to 4:1, reducing physical drive space requirements for enterprise database operations.
The J5060 drive addresses workloads requiring varied speed and endurance by allowing operators to divide capacity between SLC and QLC modes. This configuration lets data centers adjust performance based on write traffic without changing physical hardware. DapuStor also demonstrated the R6 E1.S drive, which features integrated channels for liquid cooling systems in high density AI server racks.
The event took place at HUST with technical support from the IEEE to address enterprise computing standards. Dr. Tao Lv from DapuStor led the industry session covering high bandwidth memory and flash integration. The company confirmed ongoing development of flash hardware engineered specifically for AI model training clusters.
