MSI has introduced the Cubi NUC WCG, a compact desktop running on an Intel 3rd generation Core processor. The unit packs a tool free 2.0 maintenance design into a 0.55L chassis for fast component upgrades. The system targets commercial workspaces requiring multi display output and dual ethernet connections.
The chassis measures 135.6 by 112.6 by 40.1 millimeters. MSI equips the motherboard with 2 DDR5 SO DIMM memory slots and 1 M.2 2280 PCIe SSD slot. Wireless connectivity runs on an Intel AX211 card supporting Wi Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4.
Front connectivity includes 2 USB A 10Gbps ports, 2 USB A 480Mbps ports, and 1 3.5 mm combo audio jack. Rear connectivity includes 1 Thunderbolt 4 port, 1 USB C 20Gbps port, 2 USB A 480Mbps ports, and 2 HDMI 2.1 ports. Network connections are handled by 1 2.5GbE RJ 45 port alongside 1 1GbE RJ 45 port.
