With gaming console prices remaining high and Grand Theft Auto 6 getting closer, finding the right time to upgrade your hardware can make a big difference. For gamers looking to enter the current console generation, this Xbox Series X bundle offers a few useful extras that make it worth considering.
The Microsoft Xbox Series X 1TB All Digital Console in Robot White comes bundled with two wireless controllers, one Robot White and another Carbon Black, along with a three year CPS Enhanced Protection Pack. This gives buyers an additional controller for local multiplayer gaming without having to purchase one separately.
The console itself features a 1TB custom SSD and Microsoft's most powerful Xbox hardware, delivering 12 teraflops of GPU performance, hardware accelerated DirectX ray tracing, and support for 4K gaming. It also supports gameplay at up to 120 FPS in compatible titles, while Quick Resume allows players to switch between supported games with minimal waiting.
Since this is the all digital version, there is no disc drive. Games must be purchased and downloaded digitally through the Xbox Store or accessed through supported subscriptions such as Xbox Game Pass. That is something to consider if you still prefer buying physical copies of games.
Another advantage is backward compatibility. The Xbox Series X can play thousands of supported games from the original Xbox, Xbox 360, and Xbox One generations, with selected titles benefiting from improved loading times, resolutions, and frame rates.
With GTA 6 expected to be one of the biggest game releases of the generation, having a current generation console ready makes sense for players who have not upgraded yet. The Xbox Series X is among the platforms confirmed for the game, although buyers should remember that GTA 6 is a separate purchase and is not included in this bundle.
The additional three year CPS Enhanced Protection Pack is also worth mentioning, providing extended service protection alongside the included manufacturer coverage. Combined with the second controller, it adds more value than a standard console only package.
