Microsoft is actively enhancing the Phone Link feature in Windows 11, which allows users to synchronize their computers with their smartphones. In the latest beta version, this feature has been directly integrated into the Start menu.

Users of the Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22635.3790 (KB5039307) have noticed that they can now access their smartphones connected through the Phone Link service directly from the Start menu. This functionality is implemented through the recently added "Companion" option for displaying widgets in the Start menu.

As seen in the screenshot above, users can directly access calls, messages, photos on their smartphones, and quickly perform recent actions, such as calling or messaging a specific contact, all from the Start menu.

To utilize this new feature, users need to download the Phone Link application on their Android or iOS smartphone.
