Rumor New Venom Game by Insomniac to be Announced This Year

A new word from a good source says that Insomniac Games, the team that made the Marvel's Spider-Man series, will tell us about a new game just about Venom this year.

What the Insider Said

A source called "Detective Seeds" said that the Marvel's Venom game might come out at one of two big events:

  • A State of Play show planned for September.
  • The Game Awards night in December.

The same person also said that the full game will be out in 2026.

Link to the 2023 Insomniac Leak

This new word fits with info from 2023 when big hacker news hit Insomniac Games. That leak showed plans for a Venom game then named Venom: Lethal Protector.

Info from the 2023 leak said the game’s story will link the events from Marvel's Spider-Man and Marvel's Spider-Man 2. It also said that the bad guy Carnage would be the main foe.

Where It Stands

Although the new word is still just from inside until Insomniac or Sony say it's true, the old leak makes it seem very likely. Fans of Insomniac have two big events to look out for a real word on this later this year.
