Analogue Reveals Super Nt+ and Mega Sg+ Retro Hardware with Wireless Support

Analogue has announced the Super Nt+ and Mega Sg+, 2 updated FPGA retro consoles supporting classic Super Nintendo and Sega game libraries. The new Plus revisions add Bluetooth and 2.4GHz wireless controller support, USB C power delivery, and cartridge hot swapping. Pre orders will open soon with hardware shipments scheduled for late 2026.

The 2 consoles use custom field programmable gate array hardware to run original retro cartridges at the hardware level without software emulation. The Super Nt+ plays original Super Nintendo games. The Mega Sg+ runs titles from the Sega Mega Drive, Master System, Game Gear, and SG 1000. Both revisions introduce updated industrial designs alongside refreshed retail packaging.

Analogue added modern wireless connectivity directly to the Plus revisions. Players can connect wireless peripherals over Bluetooth or 2.4GHz bands without external adapters. Physical connectivity changes include USB C for power delivery alongside a USB A port. The consoles now allow game cartridge hot swapping while powered on. Gamers can turn the system on and off using controller button shortcuts, while a wired controller priority setting eliminates input latency when plugging directly into the console.
