LG Starts Selling New UltraGear 27G810A with Two Modes 4K/180Hz and FHD/360Hz
LG has just put out a new 27-inch game screen, the UltraGear 27G810A, in China. Its big thing is that it lets you pick between high detail and super fast screen updates, based on what the game needs.
Two Ways to Use It: Detail or Speed
The main thing about the 27G810A is it works in two ways:
- 4K (UHD) Way: Gives a 3840x2160 detail at a rate of 180 screen updates per sec, great for deep, high-quality games.
- FHD (1080p) Way: Goes to 1920x1080 detail for a quick 360 updates per sec, aiming for top eSports games.
How It Looks and Works
The monitor has good specs to back its two-way use:
- Kind of Panel: IPS type for sure color and good view from sides.
- Colors: Has 95% of the DCI-P3 colors.
- HDR: Got DisplayHDR 400 label for better dark and light parts.
- Fast Acting: 1 ms (GtG) time to keep images smooth and clear.
Made for Gaming and Hooking Up
To help in games, the screen has key game needs:
- Sync Tech: Works with Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro to cut screen chops and jumps.
- Plugs: Comes with two HDMI 2.1 plugs and one DisplayPort 1.4 plug.
- Sound: Has a 3.5mm jack that fits DTS Headphone:X for deep sound.
- Screen Help: Has a built-in dark boost, fast action aid, and an aim helper.
Cost and When You Can Buy It
The LG UltraGear 27G810A just started to sell in China for CNY 2,999, about $499. LG hasn't said yet when it will sell it around the world, but it might be soon.
