HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 5 with NearLink 2.0 Technology Announced

Huawei is going to introduce its new TWS earbuds, the FreeBuds Pro 5. The product is scheduled for launch in China on November 25 along with the Mate 80 series smartphones to set a new standard in sound quality for its category.

Next-Gen Audio with NearLink 2.0

FreeBuds Pro 5 is expected to be the first headphones in the world to implement NearLink 2.0 audio transmission technology, which allows simultaneous sound transmission at both 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz frequency bands, thereby achieving 16 Mbps of connection speed which is eight times faster than standard Bluetooth.

Support for Lossless Audio Streaming

The additional bandwidth provided by NearLink 2.0, in tandem with the new Kirin A3 audio chip, facilitates the FreeBuds Pro 5 lossless audio streaming capacity via L2HC codec dicatavit, targeting the high-fidelity listening experience.

AI-Powered Smart Noise Cancellation

Another key feature of the new model will be its noise-cancellation mechanism, which will use AI algorithms to intelligently minimize background noise.

Launch Date and Pricing

The official launch of HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 5 is November 25 in China, and so far, no price has been provided by Huawei for the new headphones.
