OneXPlayer Super X promotional video showing the better OLED display in contrast to the ROG Flow Z13
OneXPlayer appears to be getting ready for the launch of the Super X in China, a Windows gaming tablet built on the AMD Strix Halo architecture. This product is a near rival to the 2025 Asus ROG Flow Z13, and OneXPlayer produced a comparison video focusing on specific advantages it has over Asus, one of them being screen technology.
Displays compared the OLED vs. the IPS
In the first side-by-side demonstration of the two devices with the same footage running, OneXPlayer showed a visual comparison between these two devices. The comparison paid particular attention to contrasting the benefits of the Super X's OLED panel against the IPS display of the 2025 ROG Flow Z13. The OLED technology claims superior blacks, better contrast, and richer colors than the IPS used by the ROG.
Beyond panel type, Super X has an advantage over resolution and size
- OneXPlayer Super X: 14-inch display, 2880 x 1800 resolution.
- ROG Flow Z13 (2025): 13.4-inch display, 2560 x 1600 resolution.
Liquid Cooling and Hardware Specifications
OneXPlayer, not so long ago, revealed that there will actually be two different versions of the Super X. The one version will include a water-cooling solution, which in turn keeps the laptop ot the maximum performance. Many convertible laptops such as the ROG Flow Z13 are air-cooled.
Other specifications confirmed for the tablet include
- A battery with an 83.5 Wh rating.
- Vision with HDR support.
- A "nice" set of ports for connectivity.
Expected Launch & Price
Although the price has not been formally disclosed, industry speculation expects the OneXPlayer Super X to fall in the same price bracket as the Asus ROG Z13 2025, currently offered at around $2,169. Hence, the launch of the device is said to take place within the next few days in China.
