GIGABYTE and AMD Strengthen Strategic Partnership for AI Development
GIGABYTE has developed new AI laptops and components which strengthen its existing partnership with AMD. GIGABYTE and AMD have established an extended strategic partnership which will accelerate AI development on GIGABYTE products. The partnership delivers new hardware which supports gamers and content creators through AI laptops and motherboards which provide high-performance and OLED monitors.
AI Gaming Laptops AORUS and AERO
The new laptop lineup infuses GIGABYTE cooling and software technologies into its systems which use AMD processors.
AORUS MASTER 16 This model features the AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processor equipped with AMD 3D V-Cache technology. The system uses WINDFORCE Infinity EX cooling which delivers 230W total thermal power capacity to maintain performance stability. The system includes an AI agent called "GiMATE" which handles power and performance management.
The GIGABYTE AERO X16 (Copilot+ PC) operates on AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series processors which handle basic AI operations. The system uses its built-in NPU to manage on-device AI tasks in an efficient manner.
X870E X3D Series Motherboards
The GIGABYTE X870E X3D Series motherboards provide support for AMD 9000 Series Processors which use AMD 3D V-Cache technology. The motherboards use platform tuning as a method to affect gaming response time.
The system includes a powerful power system which enables the AI-based X3D Turbo Mode 2.0 feature to function. The feature adjusts hardware and software to match 3D V-Cache performance requirements which results in stable gaming performance without the need for extensive manual adjustments.
OLED Gaming Monitors with Tactical Features
The partnership extends to display technology with three new OLED monitors the MO27Q28GR, MO34WQC36, and MO32U24. All three displays feature AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certification which guarantees variable refresh rate (VRR) operation at smooth performance levels.
GIGABYTE has added a suite of "Tactical Features" to these displays for competitive utility
- Tactical Switch 2.0 The system enables users to switch display resolution and aspect ratio settings which include 4:3 and 5:4 through a single button press.
- Aim Stabilizer The system inserts black frames to diminish motion blur.
- Game Assist The system presents users with overlays which display custom crosshairs and timers.
